| This truck began life as a reefer van. The fire department purchased the chassis, refurbed and painted the cab, and sent the chassis to Amthor, which shortened the frame, mounted the tank, and fabricated the rear deck and bumper. Members of the department mounted the PTO pump, lights, and other equipment. Total cost of the truck was just over $30,000. | ||
