| We recently decided to remove the 2000' of 3" hose once carried by this unit, since we have 1000' of 5" hose on
our pumper, and can easily have several thousand feet of LDH from mutual aid departments on-scene
in minutes. For "inside" fires, the trailer sets up at the appropriate dry hydrant and pumps to
LDH laid in by responding pumpers. For fires outside the hamlet, the trailer pump is used to establish a fill site for tanker relays. | ||
